Acting as local counsel for the lenders in connection with the 873 MW Suki Kinari,
the 720 MW Karot, and the 1124 MW Kohala hydel power projects. The 720 MW
Karot project has been nominated in ‘Deals of the Year: Project Finance, 2018’ by the
IFLR Asia Awards, the ‘Winner: Asia Pacific Hydro’, IJGlobal Awards, 2017 and the
‘Winner: Deals of the Year 2017’, China Business Law Journal.

Acting for Overseas Private Investment Corporation in connection with its financing
of the 50 MW Sapphire Power, 50 MW Jhimpir Power, and 49.7 MW Hawa Energy
wind power projects.

Acting as Pakistan counsel for the lenders in the 131 MW Kohinoor Power, 136 MW
Gul Ahmed Power, and 117 MW Southern (Raiwind) Power oil-fired power projects.

Acting for the lenders and equity arrangers in the 235 MW gas-fired Liberty Power
Project; and for the sponsors and the project company in the 126 MW oil-fired Tapal
Power Project and the Tractebel Khaleej Power Project.

Acting for the United States Export Import Bank and other lenders in connection with
the restructuring of the debt financing of Saba Power Project, a 134MW coal power
plant in Punjab.

Acting for the Asian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, International
Finance Corporation, Proparco, and a consortium of local lenders led by Habib Bank
Limited and the National Bank of Pakistan on the 79 MW New Bong Escape
Hydroelectric Project in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting for the International Finance Corporation, DEG, and FMO on a technical
advisory assignment in respect of a wind power generation project in Sindh sponsored
by Green Power (Tapal).

Acting for the International Finance Corporation and other senior lenders (principally
European state development finance institutions) in the financing of a 217 MW gas-
fired power project in Sindh.

Acting for Uch Power Limited and its sponsor, International Power GDF Suez, in
respect of a 400 MW expansion of the company’s low BTU gas-fired project in
Balochistan.

Acting for the National Bank of Pakistan and Habib Bank Limited as the lead
arrangers of a multi-facility financing of a 220 MW expansion project for the Hub
Power Company Limited at Narowal in Punjab.

Acting for a consortium of Pakistani banks led by MCB Bank Limited in the project
financing of the 50 MW Wind Power Project by Fauji Fertilisers Company Energy
Limited.

Acting for the National Bank of Pakistan as the Intercreditor Agent and Security
Trustee in a US$ 750 million multi-currency and multi-facility financing for the
fertiliser expansion project for Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited.

Acting for Askari Bank Limited as the lead arranger in connection with a syndicated
US$ 125.5 million standby letter of credit facility on behalf of Northern Power
Generation Company Limited for a rental power project in Faisalabad.

Acting for the International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank, Islamic
Development Bank, and Korean Export Import Bank in connection with the financing
of the 150 MW Patrind Hydropower Project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Acting for the Export Credits Guarantee Department of the UK in connection with the
financing of ICI Pakistan Limited’s Pure Terephthalic Acid Plant in Pakistan.
